New Roof Not Laying Very Flat

Looks like a fine job except that most of the shingles do not lie 100 flat on the bottom.

It has been cloudy and rainy. Roofing gutters and all waterproofing anywhere new shingles not laying flat i recently had a new 3d shingle roof installed. When heated by the sun the strip will cause the shingles to lay down and bond together. They went into the attic and found all the new plywood sheets dripping literlally with water or some thing.

It was a sunny 80 degree day. This is normally not a problem unless you experience windy conditions that can catch the. It was installed on about a 40 degree day. Why are new roof shingles not flat.

The company installed those frozen shingles and the end result was a uneven not flat looking roof. In most cases new asphalt shingles are installed by overlapping one from another or by interlocking this creates a barrier against different forces of the weather most notable rain snow and hail.

Sculptured shingles have additional thickness giving the roof an appearance of using individual shingles which are not always the same thickness.
