New Extension Roof Leaking

On my drawings i would specify something along the lines roof tiles shall be marley double roman interlocking roof tiles complete with all necessary eaves verge ridge valley and hip tiles including fixints trims and the like all fixed in accordance with the manufacurer s fixing guide and instructions and bs8000 6.

An extension completed less than 2 years ago now has a leak in the flat roof. Some roof leaks are tough to locate. So before you pick up the phone and begin to yell at your roof you first need to stay calm and try to assess the situation. The leak appears to be getting in behind the lead cover flashing where new roof joins against existing wall it is code 5 lead chased into wall 25mm. We have a new extension which is 4 2m x 5m and a pitch of 14 degrees.
